Flaneur’s first release on Lab Six Records is liminal yet tangible. ‘Far Away’ incorporates an addictive hook, piano house topline and spacious vocals create easy listening and summery submersion. 

A somewhat softened break-beat carries the track forwards and balances the nearly lo-fi indie-pitched vocals from DÅN (Sun City’s Dan Mackey) Combining vocal elements reminiscent of the late 2000’s Cut Copy era and Northeast Party House echo with a reverby piano house signature keeps it fresh and natural avoiding a sharpness through over-production. The careful variation in drum volume builds and releases an organic human groove.
